Based on the information gathered and interviews conducted at the time of the incident the caregiver was wiping down shelves, cleaning and sweeping not directly involved with teaching, care and supervision of the children.
The PreK 4 classroom children were observed out of control as children were running, hitting/throwing pillows at friends, not keeping hands to themselves, child flipping on the carpet, stuffing the sink with paper towels as the caregiver was getting ready to pass out snack. In addition to the caregiver passing out skittles for showing good behavior, and cleaning up the classroom.
