In the 3-year-old classroom, a caregiver's backpack purse was on the observed on the table assessible to children. The caregiver was informed of the deficiency. Corrected during the inspection when the caregiver removed their purse and placed it out of reach of the children.
Based upon the information obtained during the investigation, sufficient evidence was available to support, a child had not been properly supervised. A child was able to leave their classroom, walked down the hallway then out of the building without the caregiver(s) knowledge.
