Prescribed medication and a pack of cigars were observed on the caregiver's desk. The caregiver removed the medication and the cigars from the desk and placed them out of reach to children.
The operation had not documented a monthly check of the fire extinguishers, smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors. The detectors and fire extinguisher were checked during the inspection.
