During the inspection a caregiver left the cafeteria to escort a child out of the main entrance of building to their parent, leaving the only other caregiver in the cafteria out of ratio with 44 school aged children.
The operation did not notify licensing of change in site director within the proper time frame. The current site director stated they have been in the site director position since October 2021.
It was determined through the course of the investigation that a caregiver was occupied with sweeping up from snack and had turned their back to the children when the incident occurred.
