During the inspection of the children files 1 child did not have an Influenza brochure signed by parent or guardians. According to FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 8.3, E Annually, during the months of August and September, the home must provide parents/guardians with information detailing the causes, symptoms, and transmission of the influenza virus. To assist providers, the Department developed a brochure, CF 175-70, June 2009, Influenza Virus, Guide to Parents, incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(n), F.A.C., which may be obtained from the Departments website at www.myflfamilies.com/childcare.
