- During the licensure year, the operator failed to conduct monthly fire drills utilizing the approved fire alarm system or smoke detector at various dates and times when children are in care. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.21, A
- Inspector notes
- During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist monitored the fire drill log and observed that a fire drill was missing for the month of December 2024. During the time of the inspection, a fire drill was conducted in the presence of the Licensing Specialist. There were 2 adults (including the Licensing Specialist) and 4 children present. Technical assistance was provided. According to the FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.21 Fire Drills A. During the homes licensure year, fire drills utilizing the smoke detector(s) must be conducted monthly at various dates and times when children are in care.
