The home did not maintain documentation that the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of each child were provided information regarding the potential for distracted adults to fail to drop off a child and leave them in the car annually during the months of April and September in that [three childs file were missing the proper parent notifaction for April 2024. ].
Report comments
The provider was placing the form in her enrollment package which was not meeting the April requirement for achnowledgement by parent. The provider was left with a copy of the Distracted Drived brochure and the process was explained for both April and September collection . The provider will now collect signatures in April and September moving forward for all enrolled families. This brings this area into complaince
