A family day care home may provide care for a maximum of: 4 children from birth to 12 months of age. 3 children from birth to 12 months of age, and other children, for a maximum total of six children. 6 preschool children if all are older than 12 months of age. 10 children if no more than 5 are preschool age and, of those 5, no more than 2 are under 12 months of age. Specialist observed 7 children present; 1 infant, 5 preschool aged children (1 one, 2 twos, 1 three, and 1 four-year old), and 1 school age child (five-years old) were present. While the specialist was present, one child was picked up by their parent to put the home back in compliance.

Counselor observed a dog on the premises of the home that did not have updated vaccinations records. Technical assistance was provided to maintain the shot records of any animal housed at the residence. Home will have until 6/20/24 to send the licensing counselor updated vaccination records.
