Supervision of children in the [two year old] group was inadequate in that [a child fell during diaper change and bump his mouth]. CCF Handbook, Section 2.4
Inspector notes
On 5/11/2023, There were six two-year-olds in the class with one teacher. It was near nap time. The teacher in the classroom was changing one of the children on a changing mat on the floor while the other five were finishing lunch and preparing for naptime. During this time, one of the children placed a blanket over their head and bumped their mouth on the bookshelf. The child received immediate attention, and the parents were notified of the incident. The Licensing Counselor provided technical assistance explaining the importance of always supervising children to reach out for assistance if needed.
