During the facilitys licensure year, fire drills utilizing the approved alarm system were not conducted monthly at various dates and times when children were in care [No fire drill was completed in April 2026]. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.4, A
Report comments
Licensing Specialist reviewed Fire Drill Log and determined a fire drill was not completed in the Month of April 2026. The Provider advised Licensing Specialist that the Landlord of the complex cannot set off the fire alarm. Licensing Specialist provided technical Assistance to the Director: A fire drill with the fire alarm system must be done monthly and documented on the Fire Drill Log. A lockdown drill, a severe weather drill, and alternate route from from the building must be done once a year, and documented. Af ire drill must be done by the due date for the facility to be in compliance. The Last approved Fire Inspection was completed on 08/11/2025. The Fire Exinguishers expire 07/2026.
