Sec. 7-11.06, Ordinance: Whenever a licensed child care facility is sold or the ownership is changed, the new or prospective owner or designated representative of the prospective owner shall make application to the local licensing agency for a new license at least forty- five (45) days prior to the date of the change of ownership. Every child care facility shall receive approval for a license prior to the time a new owner assumes any responsibility for the facility. Ownership of the facility has changed and an application has not been received.

CCLE was notified of a change of ownership on April 7, 2026. The office was not given 45 days notification. The assigned quality assurance specialist is working with new owner to obtain the license.

Manual or electrically powered commercial water coolers may be used to meet the indoor drinking fountain requirements. Electrically powered commercial water coolers may be used to meet the outdoor drinking fountain requirements. Water coolers with a hot water feature are prohibited for use by children at child care facilities. The facility has an inadequate number of working indoor/outdoor drinking fountains. There is a two compartment sink immediately outside of the food prep area that is being used for washing serving utensils but it does not have a third compartment for sanitizing. Technical assistance was given in that the provider should not be washing dishes in that sink as it does not have three compartments and should be designating one of those sinks for food prep handwashing only.
