- Building 2 classroom had blankets stacked with the cots. Blankets are normally stored in plastic bags in between the cots. Staff will wash linens before next use. Bedding and linens, when not in use, must be stored in a sanitary manner which prevents the spread of germs or lice from other linens. All bedding and linens must be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized at least once a week, and before use by another child. Not Monitored Comments Children not napping at time of inspection.

- Staff gave child blueberries. Allergy was documented in file and posted on allergy sheet. Staff had meeting and in house training discussing food allergies. If a special diet is required for a child by a physician, a copy of the physicians order, a copy of the diet, and a sample meal plan for the special diet must be maintained in the childs file and followed. If the custodial parent or legal guardian notifies the program of any known food allergies, written documentation must be maintained in the childs file for as long as the child is in care. Special food restrictions must be shared with staff posted in an easily seen location and followed.

All medication must have child resistant caps, if applicable, and must either be stored in a locked area or must be out of any childs reach. If medication is stored in the food preparation area, it must be stored in a manner to prevent contamination of food, food contact surfaces, or medication.

- Director notified Child Care Regulation that a child was left outside on the playground for a few minutes. Teacher quickly went outside and brought child back inside. Director met with each teacher individually after the incident. Director will reteach supervision to all staff at the next staff meeting. Child care personnel must position themselves in the outdoor play area so that all children can be observed and directly supervised.
