During the time of the compliant inspection Licensing observed that childcare personnel did not complete 10-hour in-service training requirements, According to the DCF Handbook Section 4.2.7 Annual In-Service Training Upon successful completion of the 40-hour introductory training requirements, childcare personnel must complete a minimum of 10 clock- hours or one CEU of in-service training annually during the states fiscal year beginning July 1 and ending June 30.

According to the DCF Handbook Section 3.2 Training Courses 2. Licensed School Readiness providers and any other SR provider type may complete: Additionally, providers who have completed this training by December 31, 2023, must also complete these DEL-approved health and safety modules within 180 days or by June 30, 2024: ? Health and Nutrition in the School Readiness Program and ? Safety Practices in the School Readiness Program.
