The bedding available for children in care was not cleaned and/or sanitized at least once a week, and/or before use by another child. CCF Handbook, Section 3.6.1, G Physical Environment [SR]
Inspector notes
FSC observed loose linens, sheets, and blankets stored between sheets not in a sanitary bag. A blanket was observed to be touching the floor. Technical assistance was provided that bedding and linens, when not in use, must be stored in a sanitary manner which prevents the spread of germs or lice from other linens. All bedding and linens must be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized at least once a week, and before use by another child. Bedding linens were sanitarily stored and standard returned to compliance at time of inspection. Not Monitored Comments Children were not napping during the inspection.
