Upon inspection of the outdoor play area, the Licensing Specialist (LS) observed a gap between the fence gate and the adjoining fence section. The gap created a potential safety hazard, as it could allow children access outside the designated play area. TA was provided to the director regarding the need to secure and adjust the fence gate to eliminate the gap and ensure the outdoor area remains safe and secure for children in care. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the person serving food was not wearing hair nets or other appropriate hair coverings. The LS advised staff that hair nets or hair coverings must be worn at all times while preparing and serving food to ensure compliance with health and sanitation requirements.
