The facility did not have documented proof that child care personnel participating in the transportation of children were trained on safe transportation practices prior to participating in transportation of children. CCF Handbook, Section 4.2.6
Inspector notes
At the time of inspection, all staff files was checked and observed that the staff listed on the supplemental was transporting prier to completing training. Technical assistant was given to provider as a reminder that staff who are driver must complete transportation training before transporting children. This is now resolved, the staff completed transportation training on 2/14/2024, already driving.
A complete CF-FSP Form 5131, Background Screening and Personnel File Requirements, was not on file for all employees. CCF Handbook, Section 7.4.1, A

At the time of the inspection, the CCR counselor reviewed all staff files & observed the staff listed on the supplemental was missing a 5131 form in their file. The provider completed the form while the CCR counselor was present putting them back into compliance for this standard.
