- Specialist observed the infant teacher left children in the classroom to answer the door for specialist. Teacher went back to infant classroom with the children bringing it back into compliance. The ratio after the teacher returned was as follows: Infants - 3:1 Ones - Threes - 4:1 Twos - Fives - 8:1 Per the Childcare facility handbook on page 12. The staff-to-child ratio, as established in Section 402.305(4), F.S., is based on primary responsibility for the direct supervision of children and applies at all times while children are in care.
