A 4 year-old teacher inappropriately interacted with a 4-year-old child in a way that was aggressive as evidence by mark left on the child, the child stating the teacher hurt their arm, and the 4 year old teacher telling the center director and school principal that she flipped the child over by a blanket to get him to stop shouting. An Epi Pen in a 3's classroom was observed to be current but the container's label indicated it expired as of 7/2023. It addition, the label on the prescription indicated the medication should be discarded as of 9/2023. Licensing Specialist advised the Director to contact the parent immediately, as there was a concern the parent may have accidently put the medication in an old prescription box. Also, the child has a severe allergy and the medication is necessary. The medication should not be given until the issue is resolve and an updated container is obtained.
