During the inspection, Licensing Counselor observed on the playground the mulch under the fall zones were not 6 inches in depth. The mulch was 4 inches under the swings and jungle gym. The director was given until January 5, 2024, to come into compliance with this standard. • During the inspection, Licensing Counselor provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 3.12.D.1- Outdoor Equipment. D. Permanent or stationary playground equipment must have a fall/use zone that extends a minimum of 6 feet in all directions from the perimeter of the equipment.
