The facility did not have documentation of a fire extinguisher being properly maintained to include being serviced and retagged timely, and/or with a current certificate. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, B Physical Environment [SR]
Correction / follow-up note
FSC observed the facility did not have a current and approved annual fire safety inspection by the local fire authority. The fire extinguisher expired on November 2022. FSC gave the following TA about Fire Extinguisher Not being Serviced/Tagged. Fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 2A:10BC must be properly installed, serviced, and maintained with current inspection tags at all times. Corrective action has not been made however provider will have until 6/21/2023 to make the correction(s).
