- Licensing Specialist observed a play equipment that included a slide. The plastic slide was damaged in the middle making it unsafe for children to slide down. Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance from the handbook: 3.5 Outdoor Play Area D. Children must not come into contact with any surface or equipment which poses a burn risk. Corrective action: Provider must provide a safe play equipment environment for the children.
