101223 Personal Rights: (a)...licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded...personal rights...(3)... free from corporal or unusual punishment...humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse, or other actions of a punitive nature... This requirement was not met as evidenced by: T1 received an arm massage from C1 and C2 during class. T1 told C1 and C2 that bonus points towards the Student of the Week program would be given either before or after the massage was given. (1) No child(ren) shall be left without supervision. . .Supervision shall include visual observation. This was evidenced by the following: on May 16, 2022, a lack of supervision lead to an opportunity allowing several children to go under a play structure and urinate in cups. This poses and immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care.
No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Licensing staff learned that Child#1 was left without staff supervision for approximantely 10 minutes on 3/2/2022.
