Buildings and Grounds (a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in LPA observed hot water coming out of faucets in the restroom that children use, the floor was wet from flooding of either toilet. The floors needed to be deeply cleaned and vacuumed, basic up keep of the facility needs to be maintained.which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Criminal Record Clearance (e) All individuals subject to a criminal record review pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.871 shall prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed facility: (1) Obtain a California clearance or a criminal record exemption as required by the Department or This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, as Staff #1, who was present today, indicated that she has provided direct care and supervision to day-care children on different occasions; this individual is not fingerprint cleared through the Department as required. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
