Buildings and Grounds (a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed wood rot, chipping paint, broken and warped boards, and protruding nails on the exterior of the classrooms. There were two windows in Room 48 with missing screens. Three wasps nests were observed on the exterior of Room 48. The walk way entrance and hand railings had several rust spots which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
