101238 Buildings and Grounds (a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. During inspection this requirement is not met as evidenced by: During inspection on 4/13/23 LPA observed three metal bolts anchored at fence posts were sticking out one inch. LPA observed two ripped screen doors on classroom #5 that upon closing did slam shut. This poses a potential risk to health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.

(a) A comfortable temperature for children shall be maintained at all times. (1)The licensee shall maintain the temperature in rooms that children occupy between a minimum of 68 degrees F (20 degrees C) and a maximum of 85 degrees F (30 degrees C). Based on LPA observation, the temperature at the center was at 61 degrees in east building and 52 degrees in west building. This poses a potential risk and safety for the children in care.
