Administration of Child Day Care Licensing Subsequent to initial licensure, a person specified in subdivision (b) who is not exempt from fingerprinting shall obtain either a criminal record clearance or an exemption from disqualification, pursuant to subdivision(f) of this section or Section 1522.7, from the State Department of Social Services prior to employment, residence, or initial presence in the facility. Health-Related Services (3) Prescription medications may be administered if all of the following conditions are met: (B) For each prescription medication, the licensee shall obtain, in writing, approval and instructions from the child's authorized representative for the administration of the medication to the child. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on LPA's observation and record review, C5’s medication is stored without the child's name identified on the outside of the medication and medication was stored without the product label. Additionally, C5’s medication was without administration instructions including the incidental medical service and no policy was located with the medication, in the child’s file or provided to the department which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
