Infant Safe Sleep If an infant falls asleep before being placed in a crib or play yard, the provider shall move the infant to a crib or play yard as soon as possible. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in one out of two infants in care. LPA observed C1 sleeping in an infant swing at 2:12pm, which posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Documentation shall include the following: This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on interview with L1 and record review of C1 and C8's files, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. C1 and C8, both under 24 months, did not have Sleep Logs on file for review, with the infants names, dates and time of each check, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
