Health-Related Services (3) Prescription medications may be administered if all of the following conditions are met: (A) Prescription medications shall be administered in accordance with the label directions as prescribed by the child's physician. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 1 out of 5 counts. One child's medication was expired on 8/2025 which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Personal Rights:The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: To be free from corporal or unusual punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse or other actions of a punitive nature. Based on interviews conducted, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Overall interviews conducted cooroborated that S1 pulled C1's ear as a form of discipline which poses a potential health, safety of personal rights risk to persons in care.
Outdoor Activity Space (d) The surface of the outdoor activity space shall be maintained: (2) Free of hazards including, but not limited to, holes, broken glass and other debris, and dry grasses that pose a fire hazard. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
