Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision: (a)The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs.(1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation. This requirement has not been met as evidenced by: Investigation determined staff did not have visual supervision of children in care. This poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care.
Health-Related Services (3) Prescription medications may be administered if all of the following conditions are met: (A) Prescription medications shall be administered in accordance with the label directions as prescribed by the child's physician. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on record reviews, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as 4 out of 9 medications reviewed were expired. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Lead Testing Written Directives section 101700.3 (b)(1), a result with values of 5.5 ppb or greater shall be deemed an Action Level Exceedance. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: The exceedance levels found in “I” sink was 12 ppb and in bubbler "C" sink was 9.4 ppb. Bubbler "E" was found with 8.2 ppb and Bubbler "F" was found with 7.9 ppb. This poses a potential risk to the Health, Safety, or Personal Rights of children in care.
