Fixtures, Furniture, Equipment and Supplies (f) Solid waste shall be stored, located and disposed of in a manner that will not transmit communicable diseases or odors, create a nuisance, or provide a breeding place or food source for insects or rodents. (1) All containers used for storage of solid wastes, including moveable bins, shall have a tightfitting cover that is kept on; shall be in good repair; and shall be leakproof and rodent-proof. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in containers without tightfitting cover which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision - No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: A child tripped on their dress while swinging between two desks, causing they to fall and sustain injuries, the teacher was not observing while busy applying sunscreening to other children. This poses an immediately safety & health risk to children in care.
