Infant Care Teacher Qualifications and Duties. Prior to employment, an infant care teacher shall have completed, with passing grades, at least three postsecondary semesters or equivalent quarter units in early childhood education or child development, and three postsecondary semester or equivalent quarter units related to the care of infants, at an accredited or approved college or university. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on record review, one staff file was reviewed and were missing units for Infant &Toddler and child family and community which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
(1) An aide may be substituted for a teacher when all of the following conditions are met: (A) There is a fully qualified teacher directly supervising no more than 12 infants...
