Report finding: Administration of Child Day Care Licensing Subsequent to initial licensure, a person specified in subdivision (b) who is not exempt from fingerprinting shall obtain either a criminal record clearance or an exemption from disqualification, pursuant to subdivision(f) of this section or Section 1522.7, from the State Department of Social Services prior to employment, residence, or initial presence in the facility. Hazardous access

Report finding: Fences shall be at least five feet high and shall be constructed so that the fence does not obscure the pool from view. The bottom and sides of the fence shall comply with Division 1, Appendix Chapter 4 of the 1994 Uniform Building Code. In addition to meeting all of the aforementioned requirements for fences, gates shall swing away from the pool, self-close and have a self-latching device located no more than six inches from the top of the gate. Pool covers shall be strong enough to completely support the weight of an adult and shall be placed on the pool and locked while the pool is not in use. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: During facility walk through LPAs observed that the self latching device on the gate leading to the pool does not function and the gate does not self close when opened. The gate was observed to be closed during today's inspection. This poses a potential risk to the Health, Safety or Personal Rights to children in care.
