Personal Rights. Each child shall be free from corporal or unusual punishment, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse, or other actions of a punitive nature. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: LPA reviewed classroom surveillance video, which shows a teacher forcefully handling a child. The staff member grabbed the child by the arms, lifting the child off the ground. This poses an immediate risk to health, safety and personal rights of children in care.
