Infant Safe Sleep (b) Cribs or play yards shall be free from all loose articles and objects. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Upon arrival, LPA observed infant (C2) propped in a play yard with two pillows and child was holding a milk bottle. Child was observed to be sleeping. LPA reminded Licensee about safe sleep regulations including no loose articles inside the crib/play yard. Sister/ assistant removed the loose items from the play yard during today's inspection.

Licensee's brother-in-law (Ariel Ramos) who resides at the home has not obtained clearance and is still 'in process' which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. LPA reminded licensee that all persons working, residing or volunteering shall obtain a California clearance or a criminal record exemption as required by the Department.
