Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision (a) The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs. (1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. LPA observed at 12:08PM that a staff walked out of the room; leaving children unsupervised.
On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on record reviews, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. All staff did not completed Mandated Reporter training within 2 years, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
