Administration of Child Day Care Licensing (1) On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 2 out of 2 staff files that were reviewed which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
(4) To be free from corporal or unusual punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse, or other actions of a punitive nature, including, but not limited to: interference with eating, sleeping or toileting; or withholding shelter, clothing, medication or aids to physical functioning. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Licensee acknowledged tapping C1 on the back of his head to get their attention. This is a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.
