101212 Reporting Requirements (d) Upon the occurrence, during the operation of the child care center of any of the events specified in (d)(1) below, a report shall be made to the Department by telephone or fax within the Department's next working day and during its normal business hours. In addition, a written report containing the information specified in (d)(2) below shall be submitted to the Department within seven days following the occurrence of such event. (1) Events reported shall include the following: (C)Any unusual incident or child absence that threatens the physical or emotional health or safety of any child. Lead Testing (1) A licensed child day care center, as defined in Section 1596.76, that is located in a building that was constructed before January 1, 2010, shall have its drinking water tested for lead contamination levels on or after January 1, 2020, but no later than January 1, 2023, and every five years after the date of the initial test. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on interviews and record reviews, it was revealed that the center did not comply with the above section. Specifically, the center failed to conduct lead testing of its water used for consumption before the January 1, 2023 deadline. Administration of Child Day Care Licensing (1) On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on record review, the Center did not comply with the section cited above in two out of four teachers did not complete the required Mandated Reporter training AB1207, which poses/posed a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.
