(a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (3) To be free from corporal or unusual punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat...aids to physical functioning. A child who was in distress crying heavily sitting at a chair facing the back door and remained there crying while looking out into the yard. This requirement was not met, as evidenced by LPA interviews. This poses an immediate health and safety risk to children in care.
