Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision (a) The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs.(1)No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time... Supervision shall include visual observation. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on the self reported unusual incidnet reporting that C1 was left unattended in a classroom.
Building and Grounds 101238(a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on confidential interviews, the CCC was not using universal precautions with daycare children present as staff was clearing/cleaning table with a broom which poses a potential health, safety risk and/or personal rights risk to children in care.
Personal Rights - (a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. This requirement was not met as evidenced by facility not requiring any children to wear face covering and not enforcing staff to wear face coverings. During today's inspection LPAs observed Ms. Garcia Camacho, with no face covering and all the children were also not wear face covering as required by the California Department of Public Health. This is a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.
