Licensure Requirements Every licensed child day care center shall have one or more carbon monoxide detectors in the facility that meet the standards established in Chapter 8 (commencing with Section 13260) of Part 2 of Division 12. The department shall account for the presence of these detectors during inspections. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on LPA observation and interview with Site Director, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
101700.3(b)(2) Licensees shall maintain a lead value at or below the Action Level of 5 ppb in all outlets subject to the testing requirements of these Written Directives, for the health and safety of children in care. This requirement was not met as evidenced by… Based on test results received on 5/30/23, licensee failed to maintain a lead value at or below the Action Level for water lead testing resulting with values of 5.5 ppb or greater for outlet “D” located in room 102 which tested at 7.08 ppb.
