Health-Related Services: (A) Prescription medications shall be administered in accordance with the label directions as prescribed by the child's physician. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as medication stored for children C1, C2, C3 expired in 3/1/24, 3/2024, and 11/2023, respectively, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to children in care.

A licensed child day care center, as defined in Section 1596.76, that is located in a building that was constructed before January 1, 2010, shall have its drinking water tested for lead contamination levels on or after January 1, 2020, but no later than January 1, 2023, and every five years after the date of the initial test. Based on record review, the facility did not comply with the directive above, 2 Bubbler Water Fountains outlets tested with an Action Level Exceedance (ALE). This poses a Potential Health and Safety risk to children in care.
