Administration of Child Day Care Licensing (1) On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training. Alterations to Existing Buildings or Grounds (a) Prior to making alterations or additions to a family child care home or grounds, the licensee shall notify the Department of the proposed changed, including, but not limited to, the following:(2) Room additions to the family child care home. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: A room behind the kitchen and dining room was observed to be available to daycare children. Licensing was never informed of the installation of this room. There is no permit for the city for this room either. This poses an immediate health and safety risk to children in care.
