Prior to making alterations or additions to a family child care home..., the licensee shall notify the Department of the proposed changed, including, but not limited to, the following: Conversion of a garage (either attached or detached) into a "child care" room. This requirement was not met by: Upon arrival, LPA observed children exiting garage into living room, Licensee stated garage is used for play and nap. This is an immediate risk to the health and safety of persons in care.
