Operation of A Family Child Care Home (a) The licensee shall be present in the home and shall ensure that children in care are supervised at all times. When circumstances require the licensee to be temporarily absent from the home, the licensee shall arrange for a substitute adult to care for and supervise the children during his/her absence. Temporary absences shall not exceed 20 percent of the hours that the facility is providing care per day. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, and interview with staff, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above where the Licensee was absent more than 20 percent of the day today. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Personnel Requirements (c) The licensee and other personnel as specified shall complete training on preventive health practices, including pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation and pediatric first aid, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on LPAs record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in Five out of Five staff did not have CPR/FIrst Aide that meets Title 22 regulations at the time of inspeciton. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
