- Licensure Requirements Every family day care home for children shall have one or more carbon monoxide detectors in the facility that meet the standards established in Chapter 8 (commencing with Section 13260) of Part 2 Division 12. The department shall account for the presence of these detectors during inspections. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on the interview and observation, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an immediate risk to the children in care. During the facility tour, S3 attempted to test two smoke detectors, however, they were not in working condition. The Licensee stated the batteries are dead.

During the children’s file review the LPA reviewed sleep logs for C2, C3, C4 that were timed for every 30 minutes. All sleep logs had set times such as 12:15PM, 12:45PM, 1:15PM, etc.
