- Alterations to Existing Building or Grounds (a) Prior to making alterations or additions to a family child care home or grounds, the licensee shall notify the Department of the proposed changed, including, but not limited to, the following: (6) Any change from an area of the family child care home previously identified as "off limits" to an area where care and supervision will be provided to children in care. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on the observation the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential safety risk to the children in care. During facility tour LPA observed off limits areas not being made inaccessible to children in care. Off limit areas have latches at the top of the doors, however, the latches were not latched. Additionally, the LPA observed one of the doors open.

During the inspection the LPA was unable to review sleep logs for C3. Licensee stated she was informed that the sleep logs were to be completed until the child turned one.
