Outdoor Activity Space (d) The surface of the outdoor activity space shall be maintained: (2) Free of hazards including, but not limited to, holes, broken glass and other debris, and dry grasses that pose a fire hazard. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above there were three holes in the grassy area of the playground which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Infant Care Center Fixtures, Furniture, Equipment and Supplies (d) Swings, playpens and all such equipment and furniture shall be assembled or installed according to the manufacturer's instructions, and shall be maintained in good repair and safe condition. (2) A baby walker shall not be allowed on the premises of a child care center in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 1596.846. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above where four baby walkers were found on the infant playground.
