Administration of Child Day Care Licensing Subsequent to initial licensure, a person specified in subdivision (b) who is not exempt from fingerprinting shall obtain either a criminal record clearance or an exemption from disqualification, pursuant to subdivision(f) of this section or Section 1522.7, from the State Department of Social Services prior to employment, residence, or initial presence in the facility. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on the record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an immediate Safety risk to the children in care. During review of the facility roster it was discovered S1 has a fingerprint clearance but it not associated to the facility or any facility under the same Licensee. During interview it was disclosed S1 has been employed at the facility since April 2024. $500 civil penalty assessed.

(1) All containers used for storage of solid wastes, including moveable bins, shall have a tightfitting cover that is kept on; shall be in good repair; and shall be leakproof and rodent-proof. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on the observation, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an potential Health risk to the children in care. During facility tour the LPA observed two solid waste containers that did not have tight fitting lids.

Administration of Child Day Care Licensing (1) On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on the record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential Safety risk to the children in care. During file review it was discovered S1 did not have a current Mandated Reporter certificate on file. The certificate on file expired on 2-21-2024.

During the inspection LPAs observed S1 and S2 providing care & supervision and do not have a Criminal Record Clearance associated to the facility.
