Health-Related Services (3) Prescription medications may be administered if all of the following conditions are met: (A) Prescription medications shall be administered in accordance with the label directions as prescribed by the child's physician. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 2 out of 6 children's files which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Buildings and Grounds (e) All licensees shall ensure the inaccessibility of pools, including swimming pools (in-ground and above-ground), fixed-in-place wading pools, hot tubs, spas, fish ponds or similar bodies of water, through a pool cover or by surrounding the pool with a fence. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation and interview the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that there is a body of water present at the facility. LPA observed a fishpond in the nature yard which is accessible to children and not properly fenced which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
