101238 Buildings and Grounds: The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on LPA's interviews, 2 out of 9 staff disclosed they saw animal feces on the faciity grounds. Staff 3 saw animal feces near the garden area. Staff 4 stated there is animal feces all the time and has helped clean it up. This poses a potential risk to the health of the children.

S8 disclosed that it was reported to S8 that S4 was speaking too loudly to children in care so S8 spoke to S4 about S4’s tone. C4 disclosed C4’s teacher yells at them (children) when they get in trouble.

This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation and interview, file review, staff Ophelie Minnigerode and Tiphaine Untalan did not have background clearance. This is an immediate safety risk to the the children in care.
